While I'm a huge lover of high-end beauty products, theres nothing better than finding an amazing budget option for a fraction of the price (because who doesn't want more money in their bank account?!). Today I thought I'd share with you some of my favourite budget beauty products which will hopefully help if you're on the hunt for something new that won't break the bank.
Loreal Infallible Matte foundation- This is probably my favourite drugstore foundation to date, however I don't get to wear it as often as I'd like. This is simply because I'm way too pale for most drugstore foundations. While it lacks an extensive shade range, this foundation provides the loveliest demi-matte coverage (medium to full) without looking flat on your skin. It also lasts on my face for the whole day without any touch ups!
Face of Australia loose powder- Without a doubt my favourite drugstore powder ever is the Rimmel Stay Matte translucent powder however I don't have any at the moment so my second favourite will have to do. This powder does everything a powder should and does it without looking cakey. The only downside is that loose powder is super messy and takes a lot of patience when opening/applying!
Rimmel Match Perfection concealer- A recent discovery which is perfect for covering blemishes. I don't usually stray too far from my holy grail Nars Creamy Concealer but when I do it's usually for this one.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind concealer- This concealer has been a favourite of mine for years now! It's perfect for under the eyes and blends seamlessly while providing great coverage. Most people hate the applicator but I actually quite like it!
Australis AC on Tour contouring palette- While this palette isn't my number one choice for bronzing and contouring, it's one of the best options available on a budget. It includes three contouring and three highlighting shades so there's definitely something for everyone.
MUA Undress Your Skin highlighting power- I'm not really sure how accessible this highlighter is as I got it in the UK but it's the only drugstore highlighter I own and it's amazing! It's a gorgeous light champagne colour that leaves the tops of your cheekbones absolutely sparkling.
NYX Powder Blush- NYX blushes are really amazing for the price that they are. The one in the photo is in the shade 'Dusty Rose' however there are plenty of beautiful shades.
Sleek 'Lace' Blush Trio- Another great option for beautiful, pigmented blushes! These are also super great value for money as you get three in one!
Chi Chi palettes- Chi Chi palettes are a super great option if you live in Australia. Their eyeshadows are smooth, buttery and much more pigmented than you'd imagine! There are also lots of different colour options.
Wet N' Wild Comfort Zone Palette- A great option if you live in America or if you're doing a bit of online shopping. Gorgeous shades and very pigmented. Wet N' Wild also have lots of different coloured palettes if this one isn't your thing.
Loreal Color Infallible eyeshadow- I'm not a huge fan of single eyeshadows as I tend to forget about them, but the Loreal Color Infallible shadows are a great option if you are. This one is in the shade hourglass beige.
Brows & Lashes:
Loreal Telescopic mascara- Another very recent discovery of mine that has since made its way into my top 5 mascaras. Super lengthening while adding volume at the same time!
Jordana Best Lash Extreme- Also part of my top 5 mascaras, this one is absolutely insane. Everything you could possibly want in a mascara and its super cheap too!
Rimmel Brow This Way- A great option for brows on a budget. Brow This Way includes both a powder and a wax which can be used separately or together. I tend to go for just the wax if I want a more natural look.
Loreal Brow Artist Plumper- My absolute favourite brow gel for applying over powder. Such a lovely colour and keeps my brows in place all day!
Rimmel lipsticks- I absolutely adore Rimmel lipsticks, with my favourite being the Kate Moss 107 shade (no surprise there!). They have such a gorgeous formula and are super pigmented too!
Essence lipsticks- Probably the cheapest lipsticks you could ever find in Australia but they're surprisingly super lovely and pigmented.
NYX lip products- Last but not least, Nyx. Nyx have some absolutely brilliant lip products with my favourites being the soft matte lip creams (Stockholm is gorgeous!). They are pigmented and stay on all day without being super drying. The butter glosses, lip lingerie liquid lipsticks and the liquid suede lipsticks are also all gorgeous!
Hope you guys enjoyed reading all about my budget favourites. Let me know if you have tried any of these or plan on trying them after reading this little (Ok, not so little) post!
