As some of you may know, I'm on holiday at the moment in Queensland and a trip wouldn't be complete without a 'What's in my travel make up bag' post. You may be looking a this thinking 'holy moly, how much make up does she need?!' and I will admit, I did go a bit overboard in terms of packing, but I have a biggish make up bag (from Ted Baker) so why not?!
First up, face products. A recent addition to my make up collection, the Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer, makes for a perfect base underneath a bunch of my trusty favourites- the Revlon ColorStay Foundation, the Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer and Rimmel's Stay Matte translucent powder.
I, of course, had to bring along my trusty Nars Laguna Bronzer as well as a couple of blushes to keep me going. I decided to go for the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blush in Diffused Heat (which I am in love with!) as well as the Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso.
For the eyes, I thought two little palettes would do just fine so I brought along the Urban Decay Naked Basics palette, which I basically only use for my brows as you can probably tell, and the Wet N' Wild Comfort Zone palette which I've been loving, especially the left hand side!
I also threw in Stila's Kitten eyeshadow for good measure and my favourite eyeliner and mascara of the moment- the Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Liner and the Jordana Best Lash Extreme Volume Mascara.
It's always a good idea to have options when it comes to lip colours, and obviously you can't go on holiday without a lip balm, so I brought along an EOS balm in Sweet Mint as well as a nice selection of lipsticks, glosses and crayons. I went for Topshop's lipstick in Macaroon, the YSL lipstick in Pink in Confidence, the Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in Sultry, MAC's Diva and a NYX Butter Gloss in Creme Brûlée. Probably a few too many but oh well!
Hope you guys enjoyed reading about the products I've brought on holiday. If you want to keep up with my holiday, make sure to follow me on Twitter/Instagram! Have a great Easter!
