It's not very often that I don't spend at least some of my day trawling through online shopping websites, dreaming of things I can't have (well shouldn't have, anyway). Then, occasionally I give in and just place an order. This week was one of those times, and along with this order, I still have 4 other packages on the way. Anyway, the first of the five to arrive, Crush Cosmetics. I'd never used Crush Cosmetics before so I was, of course skeptical but I'm surprisingly pleased. The package arrived relatively quickly and everything was wrapped up and packaged really nicely. Now, on to the exciting stuff!
First on my list was the ever so raved about Milani Baked Blush in Luminoso. Whenever I see anyone talking about one of the Milani blushes, it's always Luminoso. I will admit, when I opened the package, it was a bit of an anti climax as I was expecting the actual blush in the pan to be a bit more 'wow'. However, in saying that it is a really pretty colour on and I can definitely see it becoming one of my favourite daily colours. I must've been on a serious blush kick on the day I made this order as I also ordered two other blushes, Rose Gold by Sleek and Marshmallow by MUA. Rose Gold is a pretty shimmery pink with gold glitter, which looks suspiciously similar (or exactly the same) as Guipure from Sleeks Blush by 3 palette in Lace, while Marshmallow is a vibrant hot pink shade.
Like always, most of my purchases were influenced by other bloggers/Youtubers, especially the Jordana Best Lash Extreme mascara which Lauren Curtis swears by. I can now safely say that it is fast on it's way to becoming my favourite mascara. Yes, even replacing Covergirl's Clump Crusher. It is very similar to the Clump Crusher but is just somehow better. It makes my lashes look super long and volumizes as well, while lasting the whole day. I also decided to try a bit of Wet N Wild considering I haven't ever tried anything from them. I opted for the Comfort Zone eyeshadow palette, which I think will be perfect for neutral looks as well as adding a bit of colour when I'm feeling daring. The lighter green and the blue-grey shade are both stunning!
Last but not least, Lime Crime. After trying some of the Lime Crime Opaque lipsticks, I knew I had to get my hands on some of the other products that they offer and the Velvetines were definitely my first choice. I debated between Red Velvet and Suede Berry but considering they are kind of on the pricey side, I decided to stick to one and chose Suede Berry, a gorgeous strawberry like pinkish-red. The Velvetines apply as a liquid and then dry to a matte. I'm yet to give this a proper try but I will definitely blog about it when I have!
