Melbourne: Part Two

I'm back! So my little Melbourne trip has come to an end and while I am sad to leave, I'm more than excited to be back home with my babies (my dogs, of course). Anyway, here are some photos from the last few days of our trip!

The third day in Melbourne was spent walking around the city, doing a bit of shopping and a lot of eating. Most of the stores that are in the city, we also have back in Perth, so it wasn't really anything new but everything is a lot bigger and more diverse, especially the Myer! I did a fair bit of damage (don't worry, Melbourne haul coming soon!) in shops such as Myer and Lush and then we went for a bit of a walk past Flinders Street Station, Federation Square and along the Yarra River where we settled for lunch at Grill'd. We then headed to DFO which stands for something to do with factory outlets where we also did a bit of shopping!

The next day we had a bit of a sleep in before heading to the Langham hotel for a chocolate themed high tea. Everything was so beautiful to look at to the point that I almost didn't want to eat anything (but I did anyway!).

We then went for a boat cruise along the Yarra River which started off sunny but soon turned very bad weather wise! We ended up being caught in a pretty bad storm to the point where they had difficulty docking the boat because the water level had risen so much! Eventually we got off safely, thank god! Later that night we went to the movies at Crown to see American Hustle followed by dinner at a little Asian place.

The next day I unfortunately didn't take many pictures but we went to Chadstone Shopping Centre which is apparently the fashion capitol of Melbourne. We walked around for a bit, bought a few more things and had the best hot chocolate ever at Lindt. We then headed back to the hotel for a bit and then went out for dinner at some modern little place on Southbank followed by a bit of roulette and a couple of drinks at the casino!

It was a great trip, probably my favourite of the few times I've been to Melbourne, and I simply can't wait to get back soon!

Hope you all have a great day!
